Nestled amongst the west side neighborhoods that have welcomed Buffalo's many new immigrant groups for generations, the Grant-Ferry commercial district reflects the richness of the area's diverse population.

As is so often the case, a whole new source of energy and creativity is now being tapped as Grant-Ferry once again reinvents itself for the coming generations. With our own brand of urban pioneers beginning to rediscover the special character of this district, we are seeing new life emerging in the form of shops and restaurants seeking to create a unique urban environment.

The Grant-Ferry Association will sponsor the fourth annual Taste of Diversity Festival on Saturday, June 7 at Lafayette and Grant. The event will feature food, dance and music from around the world, as well as lots of activities for children and their families.
