The Taste of Diversity Festival postponed

Unfortunately, with only a couple of weeks to go, the Department of Health decided that food offerings traditionally provided by community members and cultural organizations had the potential to endanger the public. Given the timing, we faced logistical constraints we simply could not address. While we appreciate the vigilance of our Department of Health, we wonder if this doesn't spell the end for the many church picnics, political fundraisers and other food-based events that occur every summer. We are, however, delighted to say that the Festival will return next year, bigger and better than ever!
