The Grant-Ferry Association was formed to help bring a new perspective to the Grant-Ferry Commercial District. Following a modified "Main Street Approach" as developed by the National Trust for Historic Preservation, the GFA seeks to deliver a logical, efficient and proven methodology to neighborhood commercial district revitalization.
We think Buffalo neighborhoods can be rebuilt, but the emphasis has to be on a holistic approach that recognizes the importance of all of the elements of healthy urban environments. First, and foremost, among these elements are vibrant commercial areas that make urban life distinctive and attractive.
